Medicine Hat Waves club swims in Calgary

sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Waves Swim Club raced at Swim Alberta’s Winter Festival South over the weekend. The local club raced at the Brookfield Residential YMCA in Seaton in Calgary. The Waves had two swimmers who qualified and attended the provincial meet. Avery McDonald (10): Finished 14th in 100m Breast, 21st in 50m Breast, 35th in 100m IM, 40th in 100m Free, 41st in 50m Back and 58th in 50m Free. Connor Tweten (10): Finished 11th in 100m Breast, 15th in 50m Breast and 100m Free, 18th in 100m Back and 100m IM, 26th in 50m Free and 27th in 50m Back. The Medicine Hat Waves Swim Club’s next competition is the Maverick Madness Swim Meet this weekend in Calgary. 7-6
