Hat swimmers compete at first home meet of season

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club hosted the Marlin Marquee invitational swim meet at the Big Marble Go Centre over the weekend. Swimmers from AMAC, Medicine Hat Waves Swim club, Regional Marlins Swim Club and Lethbridge LASC travelled to showcase their speed.

Here are the top-three finishes from both Medicine Hat clubs.

Girls 10 and under

Breagh Kohlman (10, AMAC) Finished first in the 100 m Back, 50 m Fly and 50 m Free. She took second in 100 m Breast and 100 m Free and third in the 50 m Back and 50 m Breast.

Emily Carter (10, AMAC) Took second in the 50 m Breast and third in the 100 m Breast.s Nayla Berg (10, AMAC) First in 100 m Breast, 100 m IM, 200 m Breast, 200 m Free, 200 m IM, 400 m Free and 50 m Breast.

Olivia Liebenberg (10, AMAC) Third in 200 m Free and 50 m Free.

Olivia McWilliams (9, AMAC) Second in 50 m Back and third in 50 m Free.

Isabel Miller (9, Waves) Third in 100 m IM and 100 m free.

Boys 11 and under

Masao Mori (11, AMAC) First in 100 m Free, 100 m IM, 200 m IM and 50 m Breast. Second in 200 m Free and 50 m Back.

Bokken Sandford (11, AMAC) Third in 50 m Free.

Gage Anderson (10, AMAC) First in 50 m Free and 50 m Free.

Elijah Hooke (10, Waves) Second in 100 m breast, 200 m breast and third in the 50 m breast and 100 m free.

Jonathan Miller (11, Waves) Second in the 200 m IM and 400 m free.

Caleb Martin (8, Waves) Third in 50 m fly.

Girls 11-12

Aliya Seeley (12, AMAC) First in 100 m IM, second in 200 m Free, 400 m Free and third in 100 m Free.

Ava Wentzel (12, AMAC) Second in 100 m IM and third in 100 m Breast, 50 m Breast, 200 m Breast.

Estelle Grisak (11, AMAC) First in 200 m Back and third in 100 m IM.

Lauren Gainsborough (11, AMAC) Second in 200 m IM and 50 m Fly.

Lily McWilliams (11, AMAC) Second in 200 m Back.

Isabel Unreiner (12, AMAC) Third in 200 m IM.

Boys 12-13

Caen McWilliams (13, AMAC) First in 50 m Breast, 50 m Free and 800 m Free. Second in 100 m Free, 200 m Back, 50 m Back and 50 m Fly.

Leo Yonkman (13, AMAC) Second in 200 m Free and 50 m Free. Third in 100 m Breast and 50 m Back.

Micah Smith (12, AMAC) Third in 50 m Fly.

Owen Gracie (12, Waves) First in 100 m IM, 100 m breast and second in 100 m back.

Abigail Begin (14, AMAC) First in 200 m Back and 50 m Free. Second in 100 m Free, 50 m Free and 50 m Fly.
