Sage Watson draped another medal around her neck at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru this weekend. The 25-year-old Seven Persons sprinter helped Canada clinch silver in the women’s 4×400-metre relay Saturday evening with a combined time of 3:27.01, adding to her gold earned Thursday in the 400-metre hurdles. Watson took the baton with a narrow lead in the final 400 metres. While she was passed by American Courtney Okolo, Watson held off a late push from Jamaica to secure the silver medal for Canada. The United States took gold with a time of 3:26.46, while Jamaica settled for silver in 3:27.61. 5
