Medicine Hat’s Mykel Kequahtooway returned from England after making his mark on the darts world stage.
Kequahtooway worked his way into top 16 at the Winmau World Masters Youth Darts before finally bowing out, and just two-and-half years after moving from Saskatchewan to Medicine Hat and picking up the sport.
The 16-year-old earned a berth into the World Masters after winning a qualifying event in Montreal earlier this year. He also took home the title of Alberta champion and competed for his province at the national championship.
Kequahtooway raised money from the community to help fund his trip to England’s Bridlington Spa for the event.
