The Cardston Cougars took the Crescent Heights Vikings’ lunch, plus their spot in the Football Alberta rankings.
Cardston beat Crescent Heights 55-0 Friday night. On Sunday, they took over the No. 6 spot in the Tier 3 rankings released by Football Alberta.
The Lethbridge Herald reported that Cardston scored seven touchdowns, two safeties and a field goal in the blowout. The Vikings dropped out of the top 10 entirely and next face Hat High.
The Mohawks are now ranked fifth in Tier 2 after blanking Okotoks’ Holy Trinity Friday.
As for McCoy, they lost 40-0 at Brooks Friday night. The Buffalos stayed put at No. 4 in Tier 3. The Colts’ next league game is Sept. 28 against Crescent Heights.
