The Saamis Rotary Majors baseball team continued their preparation for provincials with a one-sided win Wednesday.

On home field, the Majors invoked the mercy rule in the sixth inning for a 15-3 win.

Graceon Little went 3-for-3 with two runs and 2 RBI for Medicine Hat, which didn’t score until the third inning but came alive after that. A five-run fifth and a four-run sixth finished off the night.

Ensuring that all of their players were available to pitch at this weekend’s home tournament, the Majors used seven different pitchers. None of them gave up more than one hit and South Chief only managed five hits in all.

Carson Christianson hit a home run in the win, and every player in the batting order had at least one hit for Medicine Hat.
