Medicine Hat News The Medicine Hat K of C Knights never took their foot off the pedal at the Havre Jamboree this weekend. The Knights ran through the jamboree with a 4-0 record, opening the weekend with a 22-0 blowout over Malta and a 13-8 win over the Glasgow Reds before adding a 10-0 victory over the Great Falls Outlaws and a 16-1 landslide over the Havre Comets Sunday. Nine Knights found the RBI column in their kickoff victory over Malta, led by 3 RBI in a 3-for-4 outing from Cole Rath. Heydon Harrison collected the quick victory after holding Malta to a single hit with five strikeouts and a walk through three innings of work. Harrison went to work on the sticks in the following game, leading the Knights with 4 RBIin a 3-for-3 showing while Connor Drever, Brandon Hauck and Rath chipped in with 2 RBI apiece. Jaden Schwindt collected the win after holding Glasgow to eight runs on eight hits through three frames. Medicine Hat carried their dominant presence into Sunday, with Reese Whelen leading the way past the Outlaws on the heels of a grand slam. Ayden Matycio took the victory after limiting Great Falls to a single hit while fanning five and walking one through four innings. Drever shouldered the heavy lifting to close out the jamboree, driving in four runs on a grand slam of his own to help sink the Comets and solidify Medicine Hat’s perfect run through the weekend. Whelen took home the victory after holding Havre to one run on four hits with four strikeouts and a walk through three complete innings of work. The Knights hit the road to Lethbridge for a doubleheader against the Miners Wednesday at 6 p.m. 13
