Medicine Hat News The Medicine Hat Sun Devils fell back under the .500 mark with a pair of road losses this weekend. A 15-3 loss to the Red Deer Renegades and a 16-9 setback at the hands of the Sylvan Lake Yettis leaves the Sun Devils at 2-4 through the first three weeks of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League’s junior B Tier 2 season, but they’ll head back home for a two-game stand this weekend. Noah Weimer started up Medicine Hat’s offence against Red Deer, cutting into an early 2-0 deficit with his fifth goal of the season, but the Renegades responded in bunches. Zack Wilson finished off the scoring with goals in the second and third, while Aidan McLean and Tegan Rogal both finished with two helpers in the loss. Wilson went on to lead the Sun Devils with three goals and three assists Sunday. McLean and Tanner Simpson both added two goals while Rogal added a goal and an assist, Daniel Drefs had a goal and two helpers and Austin Appell had two assists. The Sun Devils return to the Kinplex to host the Rockyview Rage Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and the Calgary Axemen Sunday at 3:30 p.m. 8
