Medicine Hat News The Bantam AAA Tigers were unable to finish the month on a winning note. The team travelled to Lethbridge Wednesday for an evening tilt with the Lethbridge Golden Hawks — the team’s final game of 2017. Right from puck drop, the Golden Hawks were all over the Tigers, and the home team Hawks came away with a 5-0 win. Medicine Hat allowed one goal in the first, two in the second and two more in the third. Tigers goalie Marek Andres was named third star of the game making 42 saves on 47 shots. Lethbridge goaltender Erick Roest made 16 saves for the shutout. The loss brings the Tigers to a record of 6-13-3, which places them in last place in the RAM South Division, three points behind the Okotoks Oilers. Caleb Wyrostok leads the team with 13 goals and 20 points in 21 games on the year, while Ty Moore and Ethan Machan are tied for second with 16 points each. 10
