Medicine Hat News The Hat High Mohawks were unable to enter the Holiday break on a high following a 100-67 road loss to the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute Rams on Tuesday night. Bailey Gosse led the Mohawks with 15 points on the evening, while Ethan Egert added nine and both Josh Howe and Eidan Jonker had seven. The Mohawks mounted their strongest push of the night in the fourth quarter with 21 points in the frame. The junior varsity Mohawks had a tough night at LCI as well, dropping an 88-41 contest to the Rams. Austin Walton led Hat High with 12 points in the game and Emad Ibrahim added 11 more, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Rams at bay. Carter Johnson finished with a game-high 19 points for LCI while Garrett Procee had 15 and Tanner French added 11. The Hat High Mohawks basketball teams return to the hardwood Jan. 16 against the Coyotes at Chinook High School in Lethbridge. 9
