Medicine Hat News Two Tigers had their NHL dreams put on hold for another season, as the Calgary Flames reduced its roster by 21 players. Mark Rassell and Zach Fischer were both cut by the Flames Tuesday afternoon, according to the Flames official website. The two forwards will be returning to a Tigers team that fell in a Game 7 thriller against Lethbridge last season in the WHL playoffs. Fischer finished sixth on last year’s Tigers regular season scoring with 63 points in 62 games. He added a team high 145 penalty minutes and was a plus-10. Fischer had 10 points in 11 games in the playoffs. Rassell had 61 points in 72 games during the regular season, and seven points in 11 playoff games. 7
