Bresbee, Desjarlais take Hat lawn bowling title

Medicine Hat News Their husbands teamed up and won one title, but Jean Bresbee and Chelsea Desjarlais got the last laugh at the Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club. Bresbee and Desjarlais beat Wes Bresbee and Jeff Desjarlais 10-6 in the club’s year-end tournament final Tuesday, ensuring the boys didn’t get too high on themselves after being named regular season A division champions. The club ran a round robin before separating the top and bottom teams into A and B divisions. Ina Lutz and Lori Durdle were the initial round robin victors but Wes and Jeff took the second half title. Gordon Macdonald and Curt Moll were the B division victors. But let’s face it, the biggest smiles Tuesday were likely on the faces of Jean and Chelsea. 6-5
