Medicine Hat News Medicine Hat’s major AA Little League baseball team played four games this past weekend, going 2-2. On Friday the team fell 11-8 to South Chief on home field, before responding with a 16-13 win over Norcrest. Parker Krauss got the win on the mound, going five innings. Krauss’ solid start set the stage for fellow hurler Colbin Unreiner Saturday. At Lethbridge, Unreiner needed only 68 pitches and the AA’s beat Lethbridge Southwest 15-3 in less than an hour. He also helped his own cause with a home run; Landon MacPherson had a pair of triples and Hayden King added a three-bagger of his own. Medicine Hat’s weekend ended with a 19-9 loss to a different Southwest team. Carson Christianson’s home run was the highlight for the visitors. 6
