Medicine Hat College has its second new women’s volleyball coach in less than a month.

The Rattlers had announced May 29 that University of Alberta assistant Chantelle Lamotte was taking over from Fernando Pardo, who coached the team to a winless record in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference play this past season.

On Tuesday, a new press release explained that Lamotte was no longer the coach “due to unforeseen circumstances” and that Kim Stonehouse will instead have the position.

Stonehouse, who grew up in Medicine Hat and played at Montana State University, was recently an assistant at Simon Fraser University in B.C.
