This family-friendly evening kicks off with an all-you-can-eat cowboy buffet at the historic Wainwright Hotel. Indulge in a mouth-watering selection of western favourites, including roasted Alberta beef striploin, honey mustard-glazed Millarville Ranch chicken, and oven-roasted baby red potatoes with herbs and sea salt. Complement your meal with Livingston Market vegetables, classic Caesar salad, and Kitchen Garden greens with assorted dressings. Don’t miss the Alberta Bakery cornbread with butter and the cast iron fireside baked beans! After satisfying your appetite, enjoy the main event: a spectacular Wild West “gunfight” that erupts on Main Street. The event takes place on select dates in July. Located at the Wainwright Hotel within Heritage Park, the event is easily accessible and designed to accommodate guests of all ages. Members of Heritage Park enjoy a 15% discount on tickets, while groups of eight or more receive a 10% discount, making it an ideal outing for families and large groups.
Guests can choose their seats, ensuring that everyone has a great view of the entertainment. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, highchair or booster seat requirements, Heritage Park staff are ready to accommodate your needs, just let them know during checkout.
Admission to the event includes access to Heritage Park’s Historical Village starting at 4:30 pm, with a complimentary shuttle bus available to transport guests to the Wainwright Hotel. Please allow 15-20 minutes for transport time and note that strollers and wagons are not permitted on the bus. Parking is available in the front lots of Heritage Park for a $5 evening fee, with free parking for members who have the parking add-on.
