You know and love Snow Valley for its winter skiing, but did you know the hill – and the valley – are active all year round? This summer promises another round of adventures for the whole family. From the thrill of Aerial Park to the charm of mini-golf, Snow Valley promises an unforgettable experience under the sun. The mini golf challenge is new for the season. “We have a putter and 18 holes around the hill. It will be great for small groups, birthday parties, dates, etc.,” says Tim Dea, Marketing & Communications Manager. Located next to the increasingly popular target golf, the mini-golf course offers an exciting challenge for players of all skill levels. Visitors are encouraged to check the website and Snow Valley’s socials for pricing details and more information as it becomes available. Creekside Eats is making a comeback with better visibility for passersby, and, according to Dea, EPL Sounds of the Valley is back too, and this year with the addition of art. Additionally, Twilight Thursdays offers a unique experience atop the tower, where a local microbrewery provides a sampling of their finest beers. Twilight Thursdays is in now in its fourth year. Can’t get enough? Stay the night! There is a new and exciting addition to the Rainbow Valley campground – glamping domes. “The geodomes are fully furnished and heated. There is no running water in them, but the free washrooms and showers are within a short walking distance. The domes look out over the creek and are bigger than you expect, with a queen-sized bed, climate-controlled temperature, and room to sleep up to five,” explains Dea. The booking system is now live and current pricing on the Aerial Park website for all attractions is updated for the season. “The campground is booking up fast and we’re taking bookings 90 days out,” he adds. “Despite ongoing bridge construction, the campground is quiet and easy to access, making it the perfect city escape.” In celebration of Snow Valley’s 75th anniversary year, a partnership with the Whitemud Creek Mining Company and Independent Jewelers gives visitors a chance to win a diamond ring. “Stay tuned to social media to learn more about this! The draw is in mid-September, but every time you buy rocks at the Mining Company attraction on our site, you get an entry to win,” Dea says. Don’t forget that the Lodge at Snow Valley is available for rent, catering to weddings, corporate bookings, and other events. “Weddings are pretty full up on Saturdays, and corporate bookings are bustling, but there are some spots still open between now and mid-October for the Lodge. We do full catering. It’s a big facility and you can always integrate fun on the hill too,” Dea points out. Whether you’re seeking an adrenaline-fueled adventure at the Aerial Park, a leisurely game of mini golf, a cozy stay in one of the novel domes, or simply enjoying the variety of events and activities, Snow Valley welcomes you to choose your adventure this summer.
