ELLA RUTH EISENBARTH
ELLA RUTH EISENBARTH July 24th, 1929 – February 16th, 2026 It is will deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Ella Ruth Eisenbarth of
Medicine Hat, Alberta on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 96 years.
Ella was a loving mom, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind to cherish her
memory her son, Glen; her daughters, Debbie, Lana, and Karen; grandkids, Jason, Darcy, Carey,
and Joel. She also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and
cousins. Ella was predeceased by her husband, John Eisenbarth (2006); and her son, Monty
Eisenbarth (2018).
Ella was born in Medicine Hat and when marrying John, moved to Lethbridge and built a life
there for close to 50 years. During her life there, one of her greatest pleasures was playing golf,
going out with good friends. She also loved nice clothes and hunted for lovely ornament
treasures as her collection really grew through the years. In the year 2000, Ella and John returned to Medicine Hat. She still managed to continue golfing and one of her greatest pleasures was Christmas. Her Charles Dickenson collection was put up in November and stayed up well into the month of January. These times will be so missed.
A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
Donations in Ella’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
