DELMAR DWAYNE BECK Delmar Dwayne Beck, proud father to his son, Whaylin, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Regina, SK at the age of 70.
There will be no formal funeral, but everyone is invited to attend a get together in the Golden Prairie Community Hall on Saturday January 17, 2026, from 2:00 4:00 PM SK time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Binkley’s Funeral Service.

CAROL MAXWELL August 17, 1952 ~ January 12, 2026
Carol Ruth Maxwell (nee Mayer), beloved wife of the late Terry Maxwell, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the age of 73 years. Carol will be greatly missed by her son, Steve; daughter, Twila (Gerry); precious granddaughter, Calli; sister, Kathy (Bob) Gauthier; brother, Tracy (Sherry) Mayer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Along with Terry, she was predeceased by her parents, Wally and Vera Mayer; brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Linda Mayer as well as Terry’s parents, Harry and Ruby Maxwell. Carol was born on August 17, 1952, in Medicine Hat and grew up on the family farm where she developed a deep appreciation for hard work, community and family; memories she fondly shared throughout her life. Carol was deeply involved in her community and gave generously of her time and energy. She was a life member of the Bow Island Legion and a strong supporter of the Bow Island Friends of the Library. Carol volunteered many years with the Bow Island & Burdett Chamber of Commerce while also serving as a longtime volunteer with the Bow Island Children’s Festival; always happy to lend a hand where it was needed. Known for her warm and social nature, Carol truly enjoyed visiting with family and friends alike. She especially treasured time spent with her granddaughter, Calli, who brought her immense joy. A devoted pet lover, Carol’s compassion extended to all animals, reflecting her kind and caring spirit. She will be forever remembered and loved by all those whose lives she touched. ALBERTUS “BERT” TYMENSEN

ALBERTUS “BERT” TYMENSEN 1941 ~ 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albertus Tymensen of Medicine Hat, Alberta on January 13, 2026, at the age of 84 years. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of family. Albertus was born on July 24, 1941, and immigrated to Canada in 1976, from Leusden, The Netherlands. He dedicated his life to supporting his family working for Everett’s Drywall until his retirement in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Joanne of 58 years; and is also lovingly remembered by his sons, Rob, Wilco (Lisa), and Ed (Heather); his daughter, Jenny (Ivan); grandchildren, Duncan, Alden, Ella, Finn, and Kian; his brother, Ton (Els); and his sister, Tineke; and sisters in law, (Joke and Ineke (Rik)); a multitude of brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents, Albertus and Aleida Tymensen; his brothers, Wim, Henk, Joe, and Roel; and his sister, Annie. Albertus found his greatest joy in time spent with family, gardening, fishing, and playing cards with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his warm sense of humour, strong work ethic and dedication to family. Some of his favourite activities include family gatherings and camping with his wife, kids, and grandkids. A private family celebration of life will be held this summer. MARLENE ANN JANKE August 17th, 1948 – January 9th, 2026
Marlene Janke passed away on January 9th, 2026, at the age of 77 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Harvey Janke; son, Trevor (Cara) Janke; daughter, Celeste (Dan) O’Brien; granddaughter, Hanna Janke; brothers, Gary Jonescu and Nick Jonescu; sister-in-law, Joanne Jonescu. Marlene was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Jonescu; brother, Bryce Jonescu.
Marlene was born in Limerick, SK and raised in Assiniboia, SK. She completed high school at Caronport Bible College. She also completed 2 years of education at the College of Education Centre in Regina. Marlene enjoyed travelling, gardening, sewing, and baking. She loved spending time with her granddaughter.
