MYRON DEIS

1970 – MYRON DEIS – 2025 It is with a shattered heart and endless love that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, Myron Deis, on December 17, 2025. He left this world far too soon but filled it with more joy in his 55 years than most experience in a lifetime.
Myron wasn’t just my husband; he was my best friend the man who made every day brighter with his gentle nature and unwavering support. From the moment we met in Grade 8 swimming class, we knew we would be a fixture in each other’s lives.
A man of quiet strength and boundless generosity, Myron taught me to appreciate life’s simple moments. He loved gathering with friends and family, whether sharing a meal, golfing in a beautiful setting, or simply sitting by the backyard fire pit. He loved to travel and enjoyed the peace of relaxation.
The void he leaves is immeasurable a silence where his voice, his touch, and his presence once filled everything. But his spirit remains in the memories we shared, a beautiful legacy etched in my heart. He was, simply put, the best husband in the world. Our love story, though cut short, was everything. I’ll carry you with me always, my love, until we meet again.
Myron was deeply loved and cherished. His legacy continues through his wife, Nancy Carless; his mother, Laurene Deis; his brother, James Deis; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Kane (Trent) and Lisa Carless; and his cousins, Mark Fischer (Tanya) and Steve Jetter (Cindy). Myron also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
To my Myron, I miss your arms around me, that safe place to go. You were the most loving, kind, giving man, and I’m so proud to have been your wife.
Charitable donations in Myron’s memory may be made to the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS), 5060 74 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 3C9. Condolences may be sent through http://www.saamis.com or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Myron Deis. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to

LORAL REILING

LORAL REILING 1946 ~ 2025 Loral Elroy Reiling, beloved husband of Pearl Audrey Reiling of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 79 years.
Loral was born on July 8, 1946, in Horsham, Saskatchewan to Philip and Alice Reiling. He attended the University of Calgary where he received his HVAC ticket and his Red Seal Ticket, coming in first in his class. He was offered a teaching position at the University, but he turned it down so that he could raise his family in Medicine Hat. Loral apprenticed at Starks Plumbing and Heating. When his apprenticeship was through he continued in the trades for seven years, eventually feeling that a shift was needed due to the seasonality of the work. He went on to a career at Alberta Western Beef as a Maintenance Supervisor, and within a year and a half, he was promoted to the superintendent of over 100 people. He stayed at Alberta Western Beef for ten years until the company closed the local plant. He was then offered a job in Edmonton at the head office, but he declined as he wanted to stay in Medicine Hat. Loral then went on to a management career at L&G Concrete which was owned by a neighbour. They were responsible for setting up portable concrete plants to build grain elevators. He stayed with the company until he retired.
Besides his loving wife, Pearl Reiling, Loral is survived by his two children, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Amos and Michael (Megan) Reiling; his three grandchildren, Justin Reiling, Evan Amos and Tyson Reiling; two sisters, Diana Wenzel and Lola (Jack) Bennett and three brothers, Vernon Reiling, David Reiling and Murray Reiling. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Alice Reiling and his brother, Kenneth Reiling. A private service was held in the Pattison Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Centre.
