HAROLD ERNEST MOORE
HAROLD ERNEST MOORE Aug 04, 1934 Dec 12, 2025 We are saddened to announce the passing of Harold, who left us peacefully, surrounded by love. Harold was a devoted husband to Geraldine (Jeri) Moore and a cherished father to Garry (Bev), Bev (Edwin), and Lois, who were by his side at the time of his passing. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as Jeri’s children, their spouses, and grandchildren each of whom held a special place in his heart!
Harold was predeceased by his parents, Harold Sr. and Fern Moore; all of his siblings and their spouses making him the last of his generation; and his first wife, Marjorie, the mother of his children. He was also predeceased by, and survived by, many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Raised in the Social Plains area, Harold began raising his family there before moving to Medicine Hat in 1969. Throughout his life, he held several careers, including working with Van Ready Mix, Farm & Industrial Welding, and Halliburton Services. Dad was a skilled and proud carpenter, and with his mix of talents, he proudly built the family home on Higdon Avenue. His craftsmanship lives on through the many treasured pieces he created for his family, friends, and grandchildren. Harold also enjoyed going for drives, and especially dancing where he met his wife, Jeri.
Special thanks to the compassionate team at Buffalo Grace Manor, who took exceptional care of Harold each day, through his final moments and beyond.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
