STEVE SVRTA

STEVE SVRTA 1942 – 2025 At the age of 82, Steve passed away in Medicine Hat, Alberta, the city he proudly called home since arriving from Croatia in 1973.
A carpenter by trade and a craftsman at heart, he spent his life building not only with wood, but with kindness and care. Every project he touched carried his dedication and steady hand.
Though he never married or had children, Steve lived a rich and meaningful life surrounded by my family and many friends who loved him dearly. To me, he was more than an uncle he was my mentor, my hero, my best friend. His wisdom, humour, and good heart were constants in my life, and the example he set will guide me forever.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and love. Those lucky enough to know him will carry his memory with them always.
Rest peacefully. You were truly one of a kind.

PAT MCROBERTS

PAT MCROBERTS 1952 ~ 2025 Duncan Patrick “Pat” McRoberts of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Pat spent much of his life involved in the gymnastics community, both locally and across western Canada.
He was actively involved in the founding of the Salta Gymnastics Club, and he served as volunteer head coach for many years. After his years in Medicine Hat, Pat went on to having a successful professional career coaching Gymnastics in Calgary, Grande Prairie, Terrace and Fort McMurray, where he finished his coaching career. He eventually moved back to Medicine Hat where he spent his retired years. Pat was predeceased by his parents Duncan McRoberts and Betty Joy McRoberts and his sister Dorothy McRoberts.
