NORMAN BONIN 1934 ~ 2025 Norman “Norm” Nathan Oswald Bonin passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 12, 2025, in Calgary. JOHN CRAWFORD LAING August 1st, 1965 June 23rd, 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Crawford Laing. John passed away Monday, June 23rd, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.
John leaves behind his partner of 21 years, Lori Kerner Ensz; his daughter, Natasha (Shane) Lanz; stepson, Douglas Ensz; stepdaughter, Shanalee (Kurtis) MacDonald. He also leaves to cherish his memory his granddaughter, Trinity (Jay) Maple; great granddaughter, Cecelia Maple; grandson, Westin MacDonald; nephew, Riley Laing and niece, Lisa Laing. John is also survived by his mother, Margaret Laing and father, Milton Laing; brothers, Steven Laing, Kyle (Tianda) Laing and Jamie (Samantha) Laing; his dear friend, Jay Lagros. Last but not least, John is survived by his 2 fur babies, Winston and Charlie whom he loved so dearly.
John was born in Hawley, NFLD August 1st, 1965. He spent the majority of his life working for Canada’s Department of Defense where he was about to retire.
