MYRNA LOIS BROSNIKOFF November 7th, 1941 March 1st, 2025 Myrna Brosnikoff passed away on March 1st, 2025, at the age of 83 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Brosnikoff; sons, Steven (Doreen) and Ryan; daughter, Jona Hanna; grandchildren, Tyler (Jamie) Brosnikoff, Jennifer (Travis) Glasgo, Amber (Chris) Schenkey, Justin (Jessica) Brosnikoff, Brianne Brosnikoff and Mika Hanna; brother, Verdon Hurd; sister, Judy; 11 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Myrna was predeceased by her brother, Jerry Hurd and sister, Noreen Hill.
Myrna was born in Cardston, AB. Her family moved around and settled in Medicine Hat, AB where she attended high school. Myrna met John at an AGT office party where she worked. Her second career was an after-school supervisor at Ross Glen School which was her true calling in life as she loved helping children.
A Private Family Service will be held and a Celebration of Life will follow in the late spring, service information will be announced once available.

December 22nd, 1946 March 7th, 2025 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Paula Booth on March 7, 2025, in Medicine Hat, AB. Marie was born on December 22, 1946, in Compeer, AB. She was a wife, mother, grandmother. She was famous for her baking which she loved to do. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Robert, son Thomas (Jenn), daughter Deeanna Bohnet (Brian), and grandchildren Carissa (Jason), Megan (Blaize), Austin (Jenn) and Alexis (Brendan). Marie is the second oldest of 11 children left to remember her Theresa (Bert), Betty (Alvin), Tony (Vicki), Ted (Marge) Rosemarie (Bruce), Rita, Stan (Lorie) and Eddie. She also leaves her sister-in-law Diane, brother-in-law Bill and Bernard (Sandy). She was preceded in death by brother Dennis; sister, Diane and her parents Barb and Leo Schulmeister; father-in-law, Tom, mother-in-law, Alice; brothers-in-law, Barry and Brian.

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Rosella Maria Mastel at the Good Samaritan Southridge Village on March 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 94 years. Rosella was born May 17, 1930, to Frank and Alice (Aberle) Herle on a family farm in the Blumenfeld, SK area, and was delivered by her grandmother. She attended Baden School and enjoyed life on the farm with siblings Wendelin and Lena. Rosella met the love of her life John at a country dance, and they were married in Blumenfeld on October 19, 1953. John and Rosella lived on a farm near Liebenthal, Saskatchewan and welcomed daughters Judy and Vera. They moved to a farm near Linacre, Saskatchewan, before settling in Medicine Hat in 1960, where their sons David and Dean were born.
Together with her husband John, Rosella was owner/operator of Peter’s Pantry, a coffee shop and restaurant in downtown Medicine Hat. Later Rosella worked at Joy’s Style Dress Shop. Her retirement years were filled with family, travel and camping. Rosella was a member of St. Patrick’s Church CWL since 1962.
Rosella is survived by her family Judy (Gordon) Gukert, Chris (Robyn) Gukert, Jeremy (Melanie) Gukert, Nichole (Justin) Cunningham, Vera (Tim) Gruber, Tania Johannson, Ashley (Marc) Bainbridge, Megan (Chris) Schwab, David (Lorrie Isbister) Mastel, and Dean (Sheila) Mastel, Courtney Foster, Jordan Mastel, Jared Mastel. Rosella also leaves to cherish her memory seventeen great grandchildren.
Rosella was predeceased by her parents Frank and Alice Herle, her beloved husband John (2015), brother Wendelin (Joyce) Herle, sister Lena (Tom) Gutfriend and numerous members of her husband John’s family.
Those who wish to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the prayer service and one hour prior to mass. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the ST. PATRICK’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Roque Pereira celebrant. Interment will take in Hillside Cemetery. JOHNNY CORK 1969 ~ 2025 It is with a heavy heart that Jenny announces the passing of her dear husband, Johnny Joseph Cork. He passed away in Redcliff on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the age of 55 years. Along with Jenny, left to cherish Johnny’s memory are his parents, Judy Cork and John Paine; daughters, Jilly and Jewely; siblings, Jessica Schultz and Shawn Paine as well as his grandmother, Elva Bertrand. He was predeceased by his grandpa, Adrien and his aunt, Shelly. Johnny, a devoted Harley-Davidson enthusiast, lived life with a spirit of adventure, whether riding his motorcycle, camping under the stars, or enjoying time on the water. Beyond his love for the outdoors, Johnny took great pride in his skills in the kitchen, known for being an excellent baker and cook. He found joy in sharing homemade meals with family and friends, always ensuring that no one left his table hungry. His love for the open road, good food, and great company will forever be remembered.
