STANLEY EDWARD SULZ “MR. SULZ”
STANLEY EDWARD SULZ “MR. SULZ” September 1,1942 ~ August 27, 2024 Stanley Sulz of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at the age of 81 years. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his children, Cory (Kelly) Sulz and Nadine Sulz (Mick); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Natalia Sulz; wife, Gail Sulz; siblings, Beatrice (Pete), Marvin (Jeanne) and Lillian; brothers-in-law, Gary (Kathy) and Orville (Jackie); and in-laws, Jake and Helen Gieser. Stan was a teacher and farmer for over thirty years. He developed many friendships in Oyen and Acadia Valley during his teaching/coaching years. Later Mom and Dad would move to Medicine Hat to be closer to their children. Stan was very outgoing, he loved to be around people, with a smile on his face and telling stories. In Stan’s spare time, he loved curling, baseball, playing cards, fishing, camping and golfing. He looked forward to the annual golf trips with Cory and their friends. Dad loved animals, music and playing guitar (self taught) and would often welcome you with hugs, many would know them as “ooaaws”. After retirement Mom and Dad traveled to many places including, Germany, Hawaii, Arizona and the Dominican. Spending many winters in Yuma, Arizona, they developed many more friendships. God knew Dad was tired, so he was called home to be with Mom. The family would like to thank the special staff at River Ridge Expressions Unit. A Celebration of Life will take place on September 7th, 2024 between 2:00 5:00 pm in Nadine’s yard. Memorial gifts in Stan’s memory may be made to the S.P.C.A., 55 Southview Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8 or a charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be sent through
