HELEN KLEBAUM

HELEN KLEBAUM 1934 ~ 2023 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Helen Darlene Klebaum announce her passing at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Wilf Klebaum; her two children, Rodney Klebaum (Nancy) and Sheri Spratt (Dan Dillabough); grandchildren, Sarah (Stephen) Mullen, Adam (Marissa) Spratt, Matthew Klebaum, Kelly Klebaum, Joe (Meghan) Spratt and Kimberly (Zach) Johnson; eleven great-grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Finley, Grace, Beckett, Felix, Burke, Emmett, Abagail, Liam and Riley; her siblings, Tena, Don, Maria and Bob as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Sarah Froese, and her siblings, John, Anne, Henry and Fred. Helen was born on August 26, 1934, in Hague, Saskatchewan. She met her husband, Wilf and they were married on October 6, 1962. They enjoyed 61 lovely years of marriage together! Helen worked alongside Wilf in the hospitality business where they owned motels in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. When Helen wasn’t working, she enjoyed playing bingo with the girls, cooking, and cheering on her favourite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Helen always added a spark to life and had a twinkle in her eye that will never be forgotten! Helen will be silently remembered by her family and many friends. OLGA SIDORAK


OLGA SIDORAK 1928 ~ 2023 It is with great sadness that the family of Olga Sidorak announces the death of our Mother, Baba and Great Baba on October 20, 2023 at the age of 95 years.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, William; her daughter, Cheryl Herzog; her son, Ron Sidorak; her grandchildren, Chad (Julie) Sidorak, Tara Atwell, Kristina (Rob) Schultz, and Lauren Herzog, along with her great grandchildren, Nico Sidorak, Mia Schultz, and Avery Herzog. Olga was predeceased by her great grandchildren, Derrick Sidorak and London Herzog.
Olga was born in Rosthern, Saskatchewan on October 12, 1928, where she grew up. She attended Milner School in the Rosthern District and then Scott Business College in Saskatoon. She worked at the Eaton’s Company in Toronto and once married moved back to Saskatchewan where she worked at the University Hospital in Saskatoon.
In 1951, she married William Sidorak and they were together for 72 years. Olga was a member of St. Peter and Paul’s Church in Saskatoon and the ladies league for many years. Bill and Olga moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 2001 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Olga was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage and loved to follow the customs her mother and father, Alex and Francis Hrapchak, taught her.
Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Roque Pereira officiating. RODNEY MARTIN

RODNEY MARTIN 1956 ~ 2023 Rodney “Rod” George Martin, born March 10, 1956, in Maple Creek, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2023 in Medicine Hat. He was a loving father and the eldest of eleven siblings. He is survived by his two children, Garett Martin and Stephanie Martin; his loving mother, Emma Martin; six sisters, Peggy (Tim) Kosolofski, Maizie Martin (Doug Mingo), Bonnie (Peter) Ozdan, Karen (Wilks) Abbott, Rhonda (Kevin) Weiss, Brenda Martin (Grant Shapley); three brothers, Roger Martin, Richard Martin, Bobby (Karen) Martin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Rodney was predeceased by his father, George Martin; his brothers, Ronald Martin and Brent Martin and his sister-in-law, Tanny Martin. Rodney’s deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, connected him with nature and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. A funeral service to honor Rodney’s life will be held at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich officiating.
