PEARL KATHLEEN BLACK

PEARL KATHLEEN BLACK It is with a heavy heart that Graham announces the passing of his beloved
wife, Pearl Kathleen Black, of Black Diamond, AB on Aug 24, 2023.Left to cherish Pearl’s memory besides her husband Graham Black is her dear niece and God-daughter, Jamie Slaney, her husband Paul and their children, Cadence, Easton and Callum. Her sister, Shirley Stepanic, sister-in-laws, Gayle Senger and Dixie Black and sister-in-law, Jane (Arnie) Dreger, and very special Niece Kristy Senger. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends. Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Tillie Senger, her brother, Harvey Senger, her brother-in-law, Lloyd Stepanic, her father and mother in law, Reg and Margaret Black and her brother-in-law Bob Black. Pearl was born in Empress, AB, however, her family moved to Medicine Hat when she was a young child. After completing high school, she graduated from Garbetts Business College in Medicine Hat. She worked for many years at theMedicine Hat General Hospital and before her retirement she was employed by the City of Medicine Hat. Pearl and Graham spent their retirement winter years in Weslaco, Texas as well as a couple of years in Yuma, Arizona. During those times they were fortunate to develop many close friendships in both Texas and Arizona. As per Pearl’s wishes, her life will be honored and her memory cherishedwithout the proceedings of a formal funeral, however, Pearl hopes her family and friends will make a special dinner and have a glass of wine and make a toast to a her and how blessed she always felt to have you all as family and friends in her life.

MIKE MARSHALL

MIKE MARSHALL 1960 – 2023 Michael “Mike” Peter Marshall, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the age of 63 years, beloved partner of Pam Cursons of Redcliff. He also leaves to cherish his memory one stepson Cash Hagen (Alicia); one brother Mark Marshall (Sonya Chapman) of Calgary; sister-in-law Bernice Marshall as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Katie and Mike and by two brothers Melvin and Jeff. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A celebration of Mike’s life will take place at River Valley Park in Redcliff on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich officiating.
