MATILDA BONAGOFSKY 1942 ~ 2022 Matilda Bonagofsky of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of Harry Bonagofsky, passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Harry; children, Cindy (Ron) Spencely and Dean (Tracey) Bonagofsky; grandchildren, Carrie Walters, Colten (Katherine) Walters, Aimee Spencely, Toree (Spencer) Bierback, and Kyra Bonagofsky; great-grandchildren, Jemma and Ivy Walters; brothers, George, James, Phillip, and Alfred Steinke; and sisters, Mary Anne Marshall and Marie Rasi. Matilda was predeceased by her parents, George and Cecilia Steinke. Matilda was born on May 22nd, 1942 in Leader, SK. She loved ceramics, baking, and crocheting. Matilda especially loved playing cards, specifically “garbage”; she and Harry played cards every night. Matilda spent lots of time with her grandchildren and family that she loved dearly. She would always have Tim Horton’s tea while visiting. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B 4V3, on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
