JAMES ANDERSON

JAMES ANDERSON March 27th, 1962 October 31st, 2022 To all my family, friends, co-workers and customers. I served in the Military for 22 years and then retired. I was honoured to serve my country! After leaving the military, I was employed at Kost Fire Safety since April 3rd, 2003 2022, serving many customers throughout the company. I want to take the time to thank my family, friends, and co-workers, who all stood by me while I went to “war” battling myxofibrosarcoma “cancer” a rare cancer. I want to thank everyone at Kost Fire Safety for fighting with me and not allowing me to surrender but to keep fighting. I was with my wife for 25 years (1997-2022). We were together for 10 years before she agreed to marry me on July 1st, 2009! She stood by me all these years and we had a bond and a promise to always say “I Love You” every morning and every evening and every in between. “I love my children.” Please know I am not far away….I am in your hearts, and you are in mine, until we meet again one day. ~ Dad ~

JOHN JUDGE

1943 – JOHN JUDGE – 2022 John Judge passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Janice of Medicine Hat, he also leaves to cherish his memory two children, Pam (Kent) Carson and Dave Judge (Aime Tschritter); four grandchildren, Kate, Grady, Julissa and Julian; his brother, Bill Judge and sister, Kathy (Russ) Farrell; his brother-in-law, Russ (Lynne) Paulson and sister-in-law, Carol (Jim) Lines as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Judge.
John spent almost his whole career (over 40 years) at Red Hat Co-op in Redcliff. John was at Red Hat from the beginning and successfully grew the business over the years into an important player in the Canadian greenhouse industry. Beyond Red Hat, John was well known throughout Canada and the US for his knowledge and expertise in the marketing and sales of greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.
In addition to his great success at Red Hat, John was passionate about both the outdoors and his family. He enjoyed decades of hunting and fishing with multiple generations of friends and family in and around the area. John was a true constant for his children and grandchildren. Nothing made John happier then teaching his kids and grandkids to hunt and fish and he spent as many hours as he could with them. His larger-than-life energy and passion for life will be dearly missed by all.
The funeral service will be held in the Victory Lutheran Church (2793 Southview Drive SE) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roland Weisbrot officiating.
