He leaves to cherish his memory their three children, Jill Chesley (Kathleen Danser) of Edmonton, Debra Chesley of Calgary, and Jay (Tracey) Chesley of Calgary; their granddaughter Elizabeth Chesley of Vancouver; his aunt Doreen Medland of Toronto; his nieces, Laurie and Judy; as well as other members of his extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Phelps and Olive Chesley, and his sister Gail Provan. Somewhat nomadic, Wayne was born in Punnichy, Saskatchewan on August 4, 1939, moved with his parents and sister to Medicine Hat by the late 1940’s and married Bernice in Winnipeg on February 5, 1965. They started their family while moving around western Canada for Wayne’s work with Ford Motor Company. Settling in Pincher Creek in 1974, Wayne opened his first dealership, Wayne Ford.
