1939 – WAYNE CHESLEY – 2022
Wayne Phelps Chesley passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the age of 83 years, beloved husband of Bernice Chesley of Medicine Hat. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating. The service will be live streamed. 1921 ~ 2022
Eileen (nee Evans) Ramage passed away in Medicine Hat on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the age of 101 years. She is survived by two sons, Bill (Rita) in Medicine Hat and Bruce (Patricia) in Glen Robertson, Ontario; two grandchildren, Evan (Stephanie) in Edmonton and Garrett in Calgary as well as two great-grandchildren, Margo and Sullivan in Edmonton. She is also survived by a special friend, Donna Robinson; brother-in-law, William Ramage as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 2004; two sisters, Dorothy and Betty; her parents, Tom and Mary Evans as well as Jack’s parents, William Senior and Gertrude Ramage. Eileen lived in Roxboro, Quebec until Jack passed away in 2004, when she relocated to Medicine Hat. Eileen lived independently in a condo until she had a bad fall when she was 94. She then moved to Sunnyside Care Centre. Eileen was a keen bridge and cribbage player and loved to garden. She also enjoyed watching curling. A private family service will be held at a future date in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the caring staff at Sunnyside Care Centre.
