It is with very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Norman “Al” Cruickshank. Al passed on Thursday, July 21, 2022, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 72 years. Al was dedicated to his career as a property and land assessor. Al loved spending time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, camping, hiking and traveling with Judy. PATRICK "PAT" MICHAEL JARVIS

September 22, 1952 – August 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that family and friends announce the passing of Patrick “Jarvie” Michael Jarvis on August 11, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory his stepdaughter, Lynne Palmer and her children (Evan and Sean), his natural children, Kevin Jarvis, Crystal Jarvis and Jamie Jarvis, all of Ontario; his siblings John Jarvis (Anne), Linda McDonald (Ron), Darlene McLundie (Colin), Tom Jarvis (Linda), Rick Jarvis (Judy) and Michael Jarvis.

Patrick was predeceased by his life partner, Pauline “Polly” Eresman, his brother Matt Jarvis (Kim) and his parents Harold and Phyllis Jarvis (nee Elder). Patrick is also survived by Pauline’s sister, Sandra Kobly (Louis) and their children and grandchildren; his best friend, Daren Velcoff along with several other special friends both in Medicine Hat and Irvine, a community which became his final home and in which he met and became friends with many wonderful people.

Patrick was always working on a project or two, and never stopped thinking about ways to build or create something. He was a man of many talents, a huge Ford fan, and someone you could always count on if you needed a hand. He may have been a bit gruff on the outside, but those of us who knew him, knew he was all heart on the inside.

You will be missed Patrick. Peace be with you. There will be no formal service at Patrick’s request. Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life, as was Patrick’s wish. Date and time to be announced.
