LINDSEY MICHELLE SINE
“She was like an angel sent from heaven to share her light with the world”
Lindsey Michelle Sine (Kurpjuweit), age 38, loving mother of 3 beautiful kids, adoring wife to husband Karl Sine, passed away unexpectedly on May 27th, 2022.
Lindsey was born on April 8th, 1984 in Medicine Hat, Alberta to a large, loving family. Lindsey was an expressive, caring, fun-loving, speak-her-mind kind of girl that carried on into her adult life. Her first love was her pet cat “Tiger” whom she adored. Summers were spent boating with family and friends at Mara Lake, BC. She always looked forward to these trips and felt care-free and happiest at the lake. Lindsey was a bright light of love and joy that spread to all the lives around her. Her smile was infectious and will never be forgotten.
In 2004, Lindsey moved to Rosebud, Alberta and over the span of 7 years, made a massive impact on the lives around her. There she completed her acting degree and met the man of her dreams. In 2008, she married her loving husband Karl and in 2010 they had their first child, Olivia, in the beautiful hamlet of Rosebud. Her greatest joy and most fulfilling job was being a mother.
In 2011, Lindsey and her family moved to Cochrane, Alberta, residing close to Karl’s parents where she discovered her true passion for midwifery. After experiencing her own home births, Lindsey pursued employment with Cochrane Community Midwives. Through incredible work ethic and a dedicated passion for her job, Lindsey was an integral part in the birth and growth of Shifra Centre for Wellness. She poured her heart and soul into the lives of every expecting mother that came through the door, ensuring each of them received the love and care that they needed.
Lindsey is survived by her loving husband Karl, her three adored children Olivia, Charlie, and Zachary, her parents Merle and Dorothy, her two sisters Jennifer (Chris), and Christie (Chris), and her brother Michael (Yvonne), and her loving in-laws Glen and Brenda, Tom (Kelly), Luke (Rachel), and many nieces and nephews.
Lindsey’s memorial service will be held on June 16, 2022 @ 2:30 pm at Rockpointe Church (Bearspaw), 255024 Lockheed Rd, Calgary, AB T3L 2R2. A private interment will be held at a later date.

You are invited to bring a written memory of Lindsey to the service or gathering for a memory book.
In lieu of flowers, the family has created a trust fund for Olivia, Charlie, and Zachary, and ask that all donations be sent by e-transfer to

STAN FOREMAN
1938 ~ 2022
We remember Stanley “Stan” Foreman (84), who passed into Jesus’ waiting arms on June 6, 2022. Known throughout Southern Alberta as “Stan the Carpet Man”, Stan led a selfless life of love and care for others, particularly in Medicine Hat.
Stan is survived by his loving bride of 61 years, Beatrice, who together built a wonderful family of 3 sons: Daryl (Sue), Kevin (Colette), and Owen (Jaime) Foreman; 2 daughters: Colleen (Kerry) Wasilow and Carolann (Mike) Janzer. Stan’s love extends forever to his 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his surviving siblings, Ken (Jeanne) Foreman and Shirley Rush.
Stan was born in Chauvin, Alberta on April 7, 1938, and attended Canadian Bible College in Regina where he met Bea. He started his career as a pastor for many small-town churches throughout British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Montana, eventually working in the carpet industry to provide for his growing family. In 1974, he and Bea moved to Medicine Hat to join Kulpe Karpets as part owner, Partner, and General Manager. Then in 1985, he and business partner, Ken Straarup, founded Main Floor Carpets, a thriving enterprise in southeastern Alberta, where he worked and served the community for over 30 years until his retirement in 2016.
Stan attended Hillcrest Evangelical Church for the past 48 years.
We would like to thank all the staff at Masterpiece Retirement for their care and attention of Stan.
