1932 ~ REV. KEITH RUNNING ~ 2022
Rev. Keith Stanley Running went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 90 years. Keith was born in Brockville, Ontario. Keith pastored with the love of his life and best friend, Anne in several churches in Ontario, before coming to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1979, where they pastored First Assembly of God and Christ the King Assembly until retirement. Keith leaves behind to mourn his passing his children, Mark (Dawn) Running of Lacombe, AB. and Rebecca (Mark) Borrows of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne; his mother, Bernice; father, Lawrence Stanley; and sister, Flora. The celebration of Keith’s life will take place Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat. 1935 – NELLIE SEITZ – 2022
Nellie Seitz, beloved wife of the late Reuben Seitz, was born December 30, 1935 and passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Nellie is survived by her children, Brenda (Frank) Heizler and Kelly (Terri) Seitz; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jonathan) and Mark (Danielle); three sisters, Edna Seitz of Medicine Hat, Evelyn (Vern) Koenig of Medicine Hat, Linda (Rick) King of Dewinton; three brothers, Melvin Rath of Medicine Hat, Ben (Mable) Rath of Red Deer, and Larry (Judy) Rath of Lethbridge; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Rath and Betty Rath both of Medicine Hat; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and special coffee buddies. She was predeceased by her husband, Reuben Seitz on February 18, 1977; her parents, Michael and Pauline Rath; two brothers, Edgar and Alec Rath; one sister-in-law, Nina Rath; and one brother-in-law, Edgar Seitz. Her family was everything to her and Sunday suppers were the highlight of her week. Nellie will be forever loved and forever missed by her family. A private family graveside service was held at Hillside Cemetery. 1944 – NORMAN CAMPBELL – 2022
Norman Gary Campbell passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Norm’s memory will be forever cherished by his wife Jean, daughter Kari Neilson (Steve), grandson Brenden Schafer (Carley), granddaughter Brooklyn Schafer; three siblings, Larry (Cecile), Donna Cordell, Linda Chamberlain (Jerry), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Verl and Doris Campbell and one brother Ronald. Norm was born in Bassano, raised in Rolling Hills, then the big move to Calgary. He worked for Palm Dairies, Cominco Fertilizer, and the Calgary Board of Education as a caretaker. He retired to Medicine Hat in 2008 and enjoyed watching his two grandchildren participate in all their sporting activities. He was so proud of them. His favorite pastimes included golfing, curling, fishing, darts, playing cards with friends, and travelling. Norm’s life and memory will be honoured and cherished without the proceeds of a formal funeral. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. His family wish to thank all the wonderful staff at South Country Village – Sunnyside, for their compassionate care during his recent stay. CRAIG WALKER
1961 ~ 2022
Thomas Craig Walker passed away in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the age of 61 years. Craig leaves to cherish his memory: son, Troy (Priscilla) Walker and their daughters, Haylee and Megan; daughter, Daryl Anne Walker; mother, Jean Walker; three siblings, Alan (Shannon) Walker and their three children, Janelle Walker (Drew Mervin) and their son Jude, Brad Walker and Cory Walker (Kiera); Scott (Lorraine) Walker and their three boys, Michael, Robert and Jonathan; Janet Walker (Malik Salman) and their son, Abdellah Salman. He was predeceased by his father, Bob, in 2009. Craig started in the tire business as a teenager, eventually purchasing Kirk’s Tire with his brother Alan in 1985. Over the next number of years, Craig put his amazing memory to work, taking pride in providing top notch service to their customers, many of whom he came to know as friends. Whether at Kirk’s or in realestate, he was a great businessman and loved the rush of making a deal. A come and go celebration of Craig’s life will be held at the Comfort Inn and Suites, 2317 Trans Canada Way S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, February 19, 2022, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting our website at
