1929 ~ FELIX LUTZ ~ 2021

Felix was born on the family farm near Liebenthal, SK 92 years ago. Dad grew up and lived on that same farm for 68 years. He was a humble, hard working man who at the age of 23, met and married Maria. They were blessed with “his girls” and he taught us all how to take care of ourselves and be independent women. It couldn’t have been easy being the only male in a houseful of females but, he managed in his quiet unobtrusive way. Dad was known for his many skills but welding was his forte. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved his dogs. He was the epitome of quiet strength a man of few words, he always listened. Never judged and was always first to lend a helping hand . His words of wisdom will be greatly missed. We will all do our best to continue your legacy of love and respect papa, grampa, dad and dear husband. Until we meet again. Felix Frank Lutz of Medicine Hat, slipped away quietly and peacefully, the same way he lived, on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021. Felix leaves to cherish his memory his wife Maria; daughters, Peggy Helfrich, JoAnn (Bill) Blott and Debra Lutz; grandchildren, Avery (Logan) Grant, Bennett Helfrich, Coye (Jaelyn) Helfrich, Josh Blott, Jory (Becky) Blott; great grandchildren, Storey, Emree, Lyric, Cohen, Annorah, Mila, Haelyn, Brooklyn and Jack; sisters, Gertie Mass, Marlene Lutz; sisters-in-Law, Katherine Besplug and Kay Hauck, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
