KIM LA RAE HADFORD

1961 – 2021

Kim La Rae Hadford, 60, born in Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away on September 9, 2021 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Kim’s family would love to have a gathering and services at this time; however, due to the current conditions, funeral services and burial will be planned for a future date. The family appreciates your loving thoughts and prayers.

Kim was born to Donna Schneider and Kieth Hadford on May 16, 1961. After completing public school, Kim attended Grant McEwan College where she was student president. Kim worked for a number of years as a bookkeeper/ accountant and even as a long-haul truck driver.

Everyone who knew Kim can agree that she was loving and loyal, with a keen mind and exceptionally sharp wit. Kim loved nothing more than to spend time with family, telling stories, listening and giving great advice. Kim’s last wish was for her children to always know how much she loved them. Kim will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clara and Stanley Schwartzenberger, and Audrey and Leighton (Bud) Hadford.

Kim is survived by her children, Leighton (Jill), Chelsey (Justin) and Justin; her siblings, Shannon Gradwell (Rick), Holly Hansen (Perry), Scott Hadford (Heather), and Lacey Hadford (Joseph); her mother, Donna Schneider (Darrel), and father, Kieth Hadford (Bev); her grandchildren, Zoe, Ethan, and Walter; as well as much loved nieces and nephews.

The family of Kim Hadford wishes to extend sincerest thanks for the kind care and attention of the staff of Medicine Hat Regional Hospital 5 East, the fine folks at Cypress View Foundation where Kim lived for the last two years, as well as the staff at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of memorials, and in light of Kim’s love for animals, the family feels that Kim would appreciate kind donations to the animal shelter of your choosing.
