1928 ~ ELMA HERRMANN ~ 2021

Elma Rose Herrmann of Medicine Hat passed away on Monday August 2, 2021 at the age of 93 years, beloved wife of Albert Herrmann. She also leaves to cherish her memory three children, Ronda Herrmann – Stickel (Gordon Stickel), Murray Herrmann (Corie Schock) and Marilyn Herrmann (John Stodalka). 1929 ~ MARGARET SCHAEFFER ~ 2021

Margaret Susanna Schaeffer of Medicine Hat passed away on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her children, Linda Davies, Donna (Don) Kormos, Anna Mary Stapleton, Robert (Carol) Schaeffer, Theresa (Len) Geiger; daughter-in-law, Karene Schaeffer; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret Myers; her first husband, Julius Czeck in 1959; her second husband, Frank Schaeffer in 1987; her son, George, and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Shawn. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Margaret. She was a member of The Hillbilly Band and the White Hatter RV Club. She was a brilliant homemaker and she enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling, travelling, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and numerous friends. A private family interment will take place at the family plot at Redcliff Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a “Come and Go” celebration of Margaret’s life from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th, 2021, at SAAMIS CREEKSIDE RECEPTION CENTRE, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB. 1962 ~ DUANE ODOWICHUK ~ 2021

The family of Duane Odowichuk sadly announces his passing on July 26th, 2021, at the age of 58 years. Duane is survived and is dearly loved by his wife, Patricia; son, Dustin (Kayla); grandsons Connor and Wyatt; stepson, Joshua (Liah) Fawcett; sisters, Patti (Jason) Stuber, Chick (Walker) Grant, Peggy Reding (Ryan and Shardae); brother, Barry (Tracy) Odowichuk (Jett and Rachel); and his mother-in-law, Lou Ray. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elain Odowichuk; Aunt Marge Harris and father-in-law, Pat Ray. His passions in life included hunting, fishing, travelling to Mexico with buddy Murray and racing his motorbike against his longtime friend, Gerald. Duane was a very special person who loved life, his family and all his friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He would want us to remember him with fondness and happiness. DELORES BUTTERWICK

1932 – 2021
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Delores Butterwick, beloved wife of the late Bill Butterwick. She passed away peacefully at the age of 89 surrounded by her loving family.
Delores was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on February 26, 1932. The family moved to the Peace River Country shortly after her birth but moved back to Lethbridge so she could start school. In 1943 the family moved to Foremost where Delores completed her high school education. Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Bill Butterwick in 1949.
Delores is survived by two sons Randy (Norma), Dan (Donna); one daughter in law Cynthia; sister Myrna (Bob) Kuhl; eight grandchildren,13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill and her son Beverly.
She will be fondly remembered by her many friends and family that knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the FOREMOST COMMUNITY HALL, 802 1 Ave W, Foremost, Alberta, with Reverend Pauline Bell officiating. A private family Interment will be held prior.
