1942 ~ BEVERLEY MALLEY ~ 2021

Beverley Malley of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the age of 78 years with her husband, Denis by her side. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Denis Malley; son, Shaun (Rita) Malley; daughter-in-law, Josephine Malley; four grandchildren, Troy Malley, Brandon Malley, Vincent (Courtney) Malley, Travis (Amber) Malley; three great grandchildren, Landon, Emma and Mya. Beverley was predeceased by her parents, Wilbert and Alice Cox; two sons, Kevin Malley and Roger Malley. Due to Covid-19 restrictions funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. BLAIR

Marion Lynne Blair (Driscoll) was born in Edmonton Alberta on April 20, 1942 and passed away in Lloydminster Hospital on January 30, 2021 with her loved ones by her side. (non covid related illness)

Marion leaves to celebrate her life and share her stories with her four children, nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters: Dorothy and Jett Junio and their sons Adam and Ethan; Kathleen and Duane Constantinoff and their sons Mathew, Drew and Brett; Mary-Ellen and Greg Gulak; Michael and Nathalie Blair, their son Gabriel (Linnea) and their daughters Alexandria and Victoria; Grandson James and wife Shanna Blair. Marion’s life was also blessed with the absolute lights of her life – her great-granddaughters Brayleigh and Malin Blair.

Marion was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Dora Driscoll.

Marion was raised in Medicine Hat, AB. She eventually moved to Kitscoty, AB, where she raised her family.

Marion had many friends that she made and kept in contact with through her life but her most endearing and dearly held friends that made her life better and easier are Ruby Wynne, Kelly Quinn, Bill Kelly, LeAnn Flath, Roy & Sharon Gower and all the coffee crew at the Wheatie in Kitscoty.

As per Marion’s wishes a private gathering to cherish her memories will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers we would ask that if people wish, they can please donate to the Canadian Heart and Lung Association, Lloydminster SPCA or Lloydminster Interval Home. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, AB administered the funeral arrangements.

It was a brisk winter afternoon as family and friends gathered at Hillside Cemetery one week ago today, to honour the life of Donald Pearce. Through placing of roses, special music and a touching tribute by Murray Jaster, Donald will be forever cherished.

JESSE BENALLACK

1984 ~ 2021

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jesse Darrell Benallack announce his sudden passing in Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the age of 36 years. Jesse will be forever remembered by his son, Lincoln; father, Darrell; sister, Shelby (Matt) and his partner, Michelle and her sons, Graham, Walker and Mavrik. Jesse also leaves behind his grandma, Marg Benallack; aunt, Cherie; uncle, Al; step-mother, Cid Olderness and her children, Tasha and Jeff; step-dad, Andrew Murphy and his family as well as numerous cousins and friends whose lives he touched. Jesse was predeceased by his mother, Sandy. He loved his Harley and was at total peace when he was riding. Time spent with family and friends meant the world to Jesse, especially his son, Lincoln, who Jesse was so proud of. He will be remembered for his smile, laughter, super kind heart and his amazing ‘farmer’ hugs. Jesse will be forever loved and missed, especially by his ‘My’ heart A Celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at a later date once family and friends can celebrate and honour Jesse the way he deserves to be. KARREN FLECKENSTEIN

1942 ~ 2021

Mrs. Karren Margaret Fleckenstein passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2021, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Ken) Rice and their children, Jinnie (Matt) Burson and Jessica (Corey) Noronha; and her son, Dana (Shari) Fleckenstein. Karren is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Summer and Saige Noronha and her brothers, Jerry (Dawn) Petersen, David (Toni Ann) Petersen and Tom (Bonnie) Petersen. She was predeceased by her parents, Edna and George Petersen. Karren was born and lived her entire life in Medicine Hat where she worked at DomGlass, Sunnyside Nursing Home and many years at Woolworths. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. A private time of remembrance will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel. THERESA TEWSLEY

1930 ~ 2021

Mrs. Theresa Tewsley beloved wife of the late Mr. Jack Tewsley, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Born in Calgary to Edwin and Mary Reimer on September 19, 1930, where she grew up and later met the love of her life, Jack Tewsley, who she was married to for 65 years. Theresa was a dedicated teacher before she had her family and then that was the focus of her life. She quite often would correct your grammar and you'll find that all of her children have excellent penmanship. Theresa was a very kind, caring and genuine woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She was a devote catholic and lived her life according to her spiritual journey. It was her faith that helped her through many challenges in her life. Both Theresa and Jack were involved in several marriage and pre-marriage seminars taking place at the church over the years. Theresa is survived by her children, Greg (Marnie) Tewsley, Kathy (Colin) Bryksa, Wendy (Jack) Magro and Joan Desjarlais. She is a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister, Louise Urness. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Jack Tewsley; daughter, Christine Schwabe; sister, Evelyn Reimer and brother, Art Reimer. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family Funeral Mass celebrating Theresa’s life will take place on Friday, February 5, 2021, followed by a private burial.
