1930 ~ PAUL TUCHSCHERER ~ 2020

The family of Paul Tuchscherer sadly announce his passing on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Paul leaves to cherish his memory his three sons; Tom (Peggy) Tuchscherer, Allan Tuchscherer and Marcel (Kathy) Tuchscherer; two daughters, Ann Marie (Wendall) Kerr, and Ariana (Mike) Lecorps; eight grandchildren, Travis Tuchscherer, Tanis (Mitch) Stadnyk, Dolan (Marla) Kerr, Deanna Kerr, Myles Tuchscherer, Bryce Tuchscherer, Javan Lecorps and Malin Lecorps; two great grandkids, Sadie Kerr, and Easton Stadnyk; and another great grandchild due any day. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Rose; his parents, Bruno and Catherine Tuchscherer; as well as all of his siblings. Dad was always a very busy and hardworking man, very devoted to his family. We will miss him terribly. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jeraj for his compassionate care of Dad, and also to the wonderful caring and compassionate staff at Good Samaritan. The wearing of masks is mandatory for all those attending either prayers or the mass. Due to Current Covid -19 regulations attendance will be limited to 100 people including clergy and staff and must be arranged in advance. 1943 – JAMES HILLSON – 2020

Reverend James “Jim” Henry Hillson of Medicine Hat, passed away near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the age of 77 years. The funeral service will be held in Fifth Avenue Memorial United Church, (476 – 4th Street S.E.) on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Pollard officiating.
Due to restrictions in place regarding COVID- 19 from the Chief Medical Officer of Health – funeral services are now limited to no more than 100 attendees including family and funeral home staff.

1934 ~ 2020

Leonard Thomas Heisler, beloved husband of Mavis, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at the age of 85 years. Along with Mavis, left to cherish Leonard’s memory is his son, Darcy (Dahlia) Heisler and his grandchildren, Braden and Evan Heisler and Kevin’s children, Brad and Carmen Barnes. He was predeceased by his son, Kevin and his parents, Frank and Cecilia Heisler. A Celebration of Leonard’s Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. Due to current restrictions in place from the Chief Medical Officer of Health regarding COVID – 19, the funeral service will be limited to no more than 100 attendees including family and funeral home staff.
