1993 ~ NICOLAS "NICK" HILL ~ 2020

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Nick. He is no longer sad and confused; he was imprisoned in a “powerful darkness.” He is flying with the angels now. We find strength in knowing that he is at peace and reconnected with his grandparents in Heaven. Nick was a caring soul and he touched the lives of many people. He had a smile that would light up a room and a determination like no one else. He enjoyed inline hockey, ice hockey, and golfing. He was a loyal friend, a noble brother, a loving grandson, and a kind nephew and cousin. Nick had an admiration and a curiosity of his ancestry and the ancient world. He had a passion for reading and a passion for learning. He had an open, spiritual mind-set and was never afraid to try new things. He genuinely cared about others and was wise beyond his years. His infectious personality, his little laugh (he was all smiles), will be missed along with his unique way of making you think about life. We will miss him forever and always. Rest in P-E-A-C-E our beautiful boy. A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at a later date. In honour of Nick’s memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 204 – 1865 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta T1A 1Z8.
