Scholastica Hammel of Medicine Hat passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the age of 97 years, beloved wife of the late Martin Hammel. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald Leo McCallum announce his passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the age of 63 years. GEORGIA (BERKHOLD) HENDERSON
Georgia (Berkhold) Henderson late of Stony Plain, AB, formerly of Redcliff, AB, passed away on April 9th, 2020 of natural causes. Georgia is survived by her brother Gerald (Beverly) Berkhold as well as two sons; Kevin (Gail) and Keith (Sue), grandchildren Megan, Cole, Becky, Alexandra, Sarah, George and Kyle and five great-grandchildren. Georgia was schooled in Redcliff and then Medicine Hat before obtaining her Nursing Degree at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary. After working both overseas and across Canada she moved back to Redcliff and worked at the local Medical Clinic until her retirement. She then moved to Stony Plain to be closer to her Grandchildren. Georgia was very active with the United Church and very much enjoyed knitting during her spare time. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
