DALE “KIM” PODESTA
passed away peacefully at St.Joseph’s Home in Medicine Hat at the age of 64 on April 1 2020. Kim was raised in a Redcliff, Alberta and became known as one of the Podesta boys. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Janet, his stepmother Lix, his sister Virginia (“Tudi”) and his brothers Greg and Bertie. Kim was survived by his sons Brent (Sarah) and Kurtis and their mother Lorraine (Bruce) his brothers Gary (Debbie) and Ronald (Stella), his brother-in-law Jack McCleary, sister-in-law Colleen Podesta, step-sister Barb Murray and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as cousins and friends. He also leaves his lifelong best childhood friend and cousin Gord (Marlene) Johnson and family. Kim loved collecting sports memorabilia namely the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved golf, playing jokes, sports and socializing. He enjoyed spending time with his big brother Gary and family and helping with projects on the farm. Kim enjoyed hunting gophers with the boys as well as entertaining with magic tricks. A celebration of Kim’s life with be announced at a later date. Tiamo Kim. May the force be with you.

Vickie Marie Elhart passed away with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at the age of 46 years. Vickie’s memory will be forever cherished by her son, Dylan Seefried of Seven Persons and his children, Carson and Kinsley; son, Ryder and daughter, Grace both of Redcliff; her partner, Arthur Burgess and his family; brother, Shane Traxler of Lethbridge; mother, Barb Traxler as well as her extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Tracy Elhart; father, Cliff Traxler as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Vickie was raised in a farming community at Etzikom and attended school in Foremost from K-12. She was involved in 4-H Light Horse and always had many animal friends around her. Vickie loved camping and traveling to Cuba and Mexico with Art and friends but she especially loved having her kids and grandbabies around. A private family time of remembrance will take place.
