On March 23rd, the world lost one of the most amazing, caring and perseverant matriarchs that her family knew. For a woman in her 80’s she was truly stunning. We are happy that she lived a long life and watched her children and grandchildren grow up. Although her life was cut short so suddenly, we are so grateful for the time we had with her. Our mom’s strength inspired many to rise above challenging circumstances and find the good in seemingly difficult situations. She was a titan in her family and to all those she helped. Our mom’s faith in Jesus and her commitment to First Assembly of God Church kept her strong and resilient. Our household was always open to others for dinners, bible studies and fellowship. Both our parents loved to entertain, and mom enjoyed cooking up large feasts for others. Her curry chicken, dhalpuri roti and fried rice were loved by all. Ruby’s dedication to her friends was admirable. Her loss has been felt across our community. With heavy hearts, we will miss you dearly, mom.
