Maurice was born August 23rd, 1935 in Watson, Saskatchewan, where he developed his extraordinary work ethic and passion for welding from his father, John. Maurice will be remembered for being remarkably wise, witty, strong, loving and how he would protect those he loved with everything he had. His stories were full of wisdom and lessons to be learned, and he would always throw in a few jokes just to make you laugh. He overcame a lot in his life time, but did so with the strength of God and the love of his family. He was always a man you could count on, even if he was struggling personally you wouldn’t have known it, he would put everyone else first and do it with a smile on his face. We can’t wait to see what you’ll do now that you’ve earned your wings.
Quote from Maurice:
“Some words of wisdom that I would like to impart. Fear nothing, I’m with you always.”

Each time I play on fairway greens,
Overlooking the spectacular scenes.
Thank you for this peaceful sport,
And time to relax in heaven’s resort.
