SHELLY YU April 19, 1987 – November 22, 2019On Friday November 22, 2019, we laid to rest our beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, partner, auntie, mother, and friend; Shelly Yu at the age of 32. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Simon (Song) Yu; her grandmothers Fu Hao Tan of Medicine Hat; So Ping Yu of Saskatoon; her sister Shanna Yu (Cody Stangland), and her niece Bella Ng, all of Medicine Hat; her brother Randy Yu (Amber Symchyck) of Saskatoon; her partner Michael Leung, Michael's parents Keung (Synthia) Leung, and Michael's sister Melissa Leung, all of Medicine Hat; as well as her two "Boys," Ha Gao and Sui Mi. She was predeceased by her grandfathers Geoffrey Yu and Zuo Liang Xu. Shelly was a happy, sweet, loving and caring young lady; who made a lasting impression on all those who met her. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects can attend the viewing at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Dr. Immanuel Chan officiating and Dr. Ken Pau translating. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
