AUDREY KARSTEN

1931 – 2019
Mrs. Audrey Karsten of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Ralph Karsten, was taken home to her Lord and relieved of her suffering on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 88 years.
Audrey was kind and gracious to all she met. She worked hard and helped wherever she could. She loved to knit, read, and bake. Audrey loved God, her family, her friends, and her church.
Audrey is lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn, Allan, and Ivan and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a large extended family.
We thank the staff at St. Therese Villa for all their loving care during Audrey’s final months.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday, August 23, 2019 at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd West, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Paul Van Stralen, officiating.

DRESCHER

Randall “Randy” Joseph Drescher of Medicine Hat passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at the age of 62 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Renee and Jezzat; one brother, Alan Drescher and his daughter Tanya; two sisters, Joanne Drescher, Sylvia (Jody) Studer and their children Dean (Crystal) and Justin. He was predeceased by his parents Greg and Caroline Drescher and one brother Irwin. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Iqbal Khurshid celebrant. 1969 ~ 2019
Mr. Gordon Henry Fitschen, beloved husband of Bonnie Coslovich, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, August 16, 2019, at the age of 50 years. Gordon’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of Bonnie’s children, Brandi and Devon (Nicole); his mother, Ella Fitschen; brothers, Ray (Sharon), Randy (Denise) as well as an aunt, Ingrid Kitzler (Helmut). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Family wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Doctors and staff at the Medicine Hat Hospital for all the care and assistance provided to Gordon. Grant Roy Lorenz, beloved son of Art and Lynne Lorenz passed away in Abbotsford, British Columbia on August 8, 2019, at the age of 52 years. He is survived by his children, Bryce Robinson, Sarah Robinson and stepson, Bryon Robinson; the mother of his children, Eileen Robinson (Ken Garrett) all of BC.; brothers, Kevin (Meagan) Lorenz, their children, Travis and Samantha of Sylvan Lake; Brent (Cidnee) Lorenz, their children, Axelle and Abbott of Lethbridge; Aunt Priscilla Laudon and family of BC.; Uncle Jim and Aunt Ronda Langbein of Calgary; Aunt Debbie and Uncle Dale Weisgerber and family of Medicine Hat. Grant was predeceased by his grandparents, Ed and Margaret Lorenz of Medicine Hat, Roy and Alva Langbein of Medicine Hat and Preston Grace Lorenz of Lethbridge. He would always greet you with a smile and that’s the way he will be remembered. Grant will be missed by all who knew him.
