Elizabeth Weisner, 57, who loved and trusted her Heavenly Father, was called home to be with Him on June 27th, 2019 where she is rejoicing in her complete healing with those who have gone on before. She was born to parents, John and Mary Paulichen in Saenz Pena, Argentina; coming to Canada at the age of 15 years. She will be greatly missed, and her memory cherished by her beloved husband of 28 years, Bruce; her parents; and brothers, John (Silvia) and Mark (Patricia); nephews, John Jr. and Joshua; and niece, Josephine; and extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to Temple Baptist Church Ministries or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences can be sent to

Michael “Mike” John Guckert of Prelate, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the age of 89 years, beloved husband of the late Mary Guckert. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road S.E.) on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Vijaya Bathinen celebrant. Interment will take place in the Prelate Cemetery at a later date. Violet “Vi” Mae Henderson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of the late Edmund “Ed” Henderson. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Janice Henderson-Lypkie (Ken Lypkie), Robert Henderson, Stephanie (Jim) Simpson, Garnet Henderson (Deb Bishop), Judy Henderson (Al Johnson) and one daughter-in-law Carol Henderson; her grandchildren, Tyler (Calli) and their children Cora and Peter; Jessica, Fraser (Camille), Justin (Nancy) and their children Parker and Finley; Sabrina (Chris) and their children Ashton and Blakely; Amber, Connor, Kaitlyn, Izzie and Kaela; one sister, Grace Heller as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Patrick Schuster; her husband Ed in 2012, and two brothers, Bill Schuster and Pat Schuster. In life, Violet’s guiding principle was love to mankind. She raised five children to get along and she taught all her students and grandchildren the importance of kindness. She cultivated family and rich friendships and her home was an inviting place for all who came. Violet was dearly loved by her husband, Ed, and her children.
The funeral service will be held in Westminster United Church (101 6th Street SE) on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sheila McLeod officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery prior to the funeral service. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
