METZ
RICHARD "DICK" A. METZ, beloved husband of Olive Metz, of Coalhurst, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 71 years.
Besides his loving wife, Dick is survived by his children: Melody (Dean) Switzer of Coalhurst, Rhonda (Dave) Long of Coalhurst, Roger Metz of Lethbridge, Dawn (Walter) Peppard of Grande Prairie and Yvonne (Jason) Hidegh of Calgary as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dick was a mentor and a loyal friend, and he always saw the best in people. He had the ability to tell great stories, had laugh that would fill the room, and would make time for absolutely anyone. Dick loved cars, trucks, rodeos, horses and – most of all – spending time with his family and friends.
