Adeline was an excellent cook, baker, gardener—loved her flowers—and enjoyed crafts of all sorts, knitting, sewing, crocheting, embroidery and macramé, to name a few. She drove school bus for many years, worked in the Auxiliary at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital cleaning tools and light housekeeping and she was often commended for her great work ethic. Later in life, Adeline cleaned the church and several homes, and volunteered at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital Gift Shop. Adeline and John travelled to several places later in life, several of which stood out, Churchill to see the Seals and Polar Bears and seeing the beauty of Alaska. Adeline was an excellent 5-pin bowler and earned many medals and trophies to prove it. She also enjoyed playing cards, crib and whist with friends at the Veiner Centre and loved swimming, which she learned after she turned 65! The family wishes to thank Dr. Bratvold for his excellent care and for going above and beyond for Mom. Adeline truly appreciated it and enjoyed going to see him.
