DIANE KRAUSS

1942 – 2019
Diane Krauss of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Krauss, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, March 25, 2019. Diane leaves to cherish her memory one son Keith Krauss, and one daughter and son-in-law Cynthia (Graeme) Dennis; three precious grandchildren, Carson Dennis, Tamara (Chance) Rockabar, and Austin Dennis, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Mom’s grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cheered them on at every soccer, badminton and volleyball game and 4-H event. She was their biggest fan and smiled proudly at their achievements and loved every minute she shared with them. They loved their grandma (granny) deeply, admired her strength and loving heart, and had countless laughs with her feisty sense of humour. Mom loved the trips and small excursions she took with her family. She also cherished the many trips she experienced with her loving sister Verna. Mom collected angel figurines, but she has been and always will be our angel. In honor of mom’s wishes, her life will be remembered and her memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral service. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to remember her may do so with a gift to the Parkinson Association of Alberta, #120, 6835 Railway Street SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2V6 (www.parkinsonalberta.ca) or to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, 2888 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, AB T3B 6A8 (403-955-8862). “A tough exterior,
A gentle soul,
He’s crossed through the gates,
Garnie’s paid life’s toll.”
