1933 ~Velva Moser ~ 2019

Velva Joan “Vel” Moser of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, March 26th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Vel leaves to cherish her memory her children, Faye (Don) Steinbach, Glen (Rita) Aman, and Gail (Dave) Bradford. KNODEL

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Milbert Knodel on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Lillian Knodel of Medicine Hat. Born on October 25, 1930 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, he lived with his parents, August and Carolina Knodel in the Schuler area, until they moved to Medicine Hat. Milbert took up electronics and built his own television that he used for the next 15 years. He met Lillian Dirk and they were married on February 22, 1952. After working several jobs, he decided to try his hand at auto body repair, working at this for the next 30 years. In March of 1962, they moved to Lethbridge and back to Medicine Hat in 1967. Together they had three sons, Duane, Daryl and Dana. Milbert was a Cub Leader for five years in Lethbridge and a member of the Eagles Lodge for 18 years. He loved curling, bowling, fishing and camping, and in later years enjoyed card games. He was predeceased by his son Duane; his parents August and Carolina Knodel, one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his sons, Daryl and Dana (Cynette) Knodel; two granddaughters, Tara (Dan) Blum of Calgary and Alysha (Allen) Lillyman of Vancouver Island; two great grandsons, Zachary Blum and Athen Lillyman; one sister Hertha Lehman, one brother Herold Knodel and one sister-in-law, Bev Dirk. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon – 12:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Iqbal Khurshid officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Melvin James Mogck passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at the age of 81 years, beloved husband of Muriel Mogck of Medicine Hat. URLACHER

William “Bill” Andrew Urlacher of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the age of 62 years. He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Jennifer (Chris) Watkins of Medicine Hat, Tamara Urlacher of Moose Jaw and D.J. Evans of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Nathan, Prudence, Mya, Brooke and Braxtyn; his mother Viola Urlacher; two brothers, Brian Urlacher and Ross Urlacher; three sisters, Patricia Schaap, Donna (Scott) Irwin and Kris Wagar (Chris Duren) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather Lorne Wagar. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend.
